Content Policy and Community Guidelines

Curated exists so people can share genuinely useful recommendations. These guidelines apply to all lists, items, descriptions, comments, and profiles on the Service.

What's Allowed

Curated recommendations based on your personal experience or expertise — restaurants, books, tools, gear, places, services, and similar picks.
Original commentary explaining why an item is worth recommending.
Affiliate or referral links, provided you clearly disclose them in the list description (for example, "Some links are affiliate links"). You must comply with FTC endorsement guidelines and equivalent rules in your jurisdiction.
AI-assisted enrichment (summaries, missing fields) so long as the picks themselves reflect your own judgment.

What's Not Allowed

NSFW or adult content without an enabled age gate, and never involving minors.
Illegal goods or services, including controlled substances, weapons that require licensing, stolen items, or content that facilitates fraud.
Scraped or fully AI-generated lists misrepresented as personal picks. Lists must reflect a real human curator's point of view.
Spam, low-effort lists, duplicate listings, or keyword stuffing intended to game discovery.
Professional advice — medical, financial, legal, mental-health, or tax recommendations presented as professional advice from a licensed practitioner when you are not one.
Hate speech, harassment, threats, doxxing, or targeted abuse, including content that demeans people based on protected characteristics.
Misleading pricing or bait-and-switch listings.
Malware, phishing, or links to harmful sites.

Enforcement

We use a graduated approach:

Warning with a clear explanation and a chance to fix the content.
Content removal or unpublishing of the offending list or item.
Account suspension, including pausing payouts during investigation.
Permanent termination for severe or repeated violations, illegal content, or fraud.

Severe violations (illegal content, CSAM, immediate safety risks) may skip directly to termination and, where required, reporting to authorities.

Appeals

If you believe we made a mistake, email support@curated.network with the list URL and a brief explanation. We aim to respond within 5 business days. Decisions on illegal content and safety issues are final.
